I think there is a misunderstanding. Their small demographic has been taken into account I believe. So you are less likely to be bullied by a non binary or trans person than a 'cis' person, because there are way more cis people. But if you would have 100 non binary, 100 trans and 100 cis people, the non binaries would have the most bullies, followed by the trans people, followed by the cis people.
They are also more likely to be bullied though and 'hurt people hurt people'. Of course this doesn't make it okay and what I've seen online, for example at www.terfisaslur.com and just regularly elsewhere absolutely disgusts me. The dehumanization, threats of violence (often sexual), what they are responses to (often respectful calm factual statements and opinions and people actually worrying about women's safety etc. Keep in mind: these examples were from 2015 at the latest, they haven't updated the site. I have sent submissions, they weren't added.
